Blue King Watchlist
Tribal ownership unverified (no primary source names an owner)
This page exists to tell you that we could not verify a single substantive claim about Blue King. Not its rates, not its loan amounts, not its fees, and not the tribal ownership that every affiliate site asserts. Its domain has returned nothing since roughly 2022, and the web archive only ever captured a homepage of generic WordPress filler. If you found a site offering Blue King loans today, be careful: whatever it is, it is not this brand.

What a Blue King loan really costs
There is no cost story, and that absence is the story.
Blue King never published an APR, a fee, a term length or an excluded-state list — not on its own site, not in a regulator filing, not anywhere. The web archive captured only its homepage; the menu linked to "Rates and Fees", "About Us" and "Disclaimer", and not one of those pages was ever crawled. What was captured is generic motivational filler on a default WordPress theme.
The loan amounts and APR ranges you will find attributed to Blue King on comparison sites therefore came from somewhere other than Blue King. We do not know where, and neither do the sites publishing them.
Our rule is simple: we do not print numbers we cannot source. For most lenders that means occasional gaps. For this one it means the whole record is a gap.
- Not operating, so it cannot lend to anyone today
- Domain returns NXDOMAIN — dead since roughly 2022
- Tribal ownership has no primary source of any kind
- Never published an APR, a fee schedule, or a list of excluded states
- Every figure circulating online about it is unsourced
- Affiliate directories still present it as an active, verified tribal lender
Where Blue King lends
Never published a list of states it did not lend in. The brand is not operating.
Does Blue King report to credit bureaus?
Nothing verifiable. No evidence of reporting to any bureau, mainstream or specialty.
If someone is collecting a debt they attribute to Blue King, demand written validation and proof of ownership before anything else.
The Chukchansi claim has no source
Search Blue King and you will read that it is owned by the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians. We went looking for the document behind that claim and found nothing.
It appears only on affiliate sites. There is no Washington DFI alert for Blue King or for Picayune Rancheria lending. CourtListener returns no relevant case. Wikipedia’s tribal-lending article lists Picayune Rancheria as an example with no citation attached.
The tribe’s own ordinance index names a "Chukchansi Finance Company LLC" — a different entity, not this brand.
This is the second time in this dataset we have traced a confidently-repeated ownership claim back to nothing: Big Eye Lending’s supposed Tunica-Biloxi parentage collapsed the same way.
The pattern is worth understanding, because a lender’s tribal affiliation is not decoration — it is the entire legal basis on which it claims to sit outside your state’s rate cap. When that claim has no source, there is nothing underneath the loan at all.
We are not saying the Chukchansi connection is false. We are saying nobody has shown it is true, and that we will not repeat it as fact until someone does.
What the archive actually shows
The last archived capture of bluekingloans.com dates to December 2021, with asset crawls trailing off in mid-2022. The domain now returns NXDOMAIN, meaning it is not registered in DNS at all.
The captured homepage promises "personal loans for any online emergency program up to $1,000 in advance" and "No Originations Fees" on a default twentyfifteen WordPress theme. That is the entire surviving record of this business.
A brand this thin, with an unsourced tribal claim and a homepage of template copy, raises an uncomfortable possibility worth naming: it may never have operated at the scale its directory listings imply. We cannot prove that either.
But when a lender leaves behind no rates, no complaints, no regulator interest and no court record, the burden of proof sits with the people still listing it as a live option.
Frequently asked questions
Is Blue King a real tribal lender?
We could not verify that it is. Its domain has been dead since roughly 2022, and the Chukchansi ownership claim repeated across affiliate sites has no primary source — no regulator alert, no court record, no tribal document. Treat every claim about this lender as unsubstantiated.
What was Blue King’s APR?
Unknown. It never published one anywhere we could verify. The web archive captured only its homepage — the linked "Rates and Fees" page was never crawled and may never have existed. Any APR you see attributed to Blue King is unsourced.
A site is offering Blue King loans — should I apply?
No. The original domain returns NXDOMAIN. Any site trading under this name today is not the original brand, and in this industry dead brands attract lead generators and lookalike domains precisely because the search traffic outlives the company.
Is Blue King a tribal loan?
Yes. Blue King is a tribal lending brand owned by the Tribal ownership unverified. That means it lends under tribal law and claims sovereign immunity from your state's interest-rate cap, rather than holding a state lending licence. It has never published an APR we could source, which is itself a warning sign. Whether the loan is enforceable where you live depends on your state.
Is a Blue King loan legal in my state?
It depends entirely on your state. High-cost tribal loans are effectively banned in nine states, where a loan above the rate cap can be void and not legally collectible, and restricted in many more. Blue King claims tribal sovereign immunity from those caps — an argument courts have accepted in some cases and rejected in others. Check your state before you borrow, and especially before you pay a collector.
How this site works
We are an independent registry — not a lender, not a broker and not a lead generator. This lender did not pay to appear here and cannot pay to change what the review says. We take no money from any lender and sell no applications.
Entries are built from the lender's own published disclosures, tribal corporate and lending-authority records, federal and state court filings, and CFPB, FTC and state regulator actions. Of the 143 brands in the full list of tribal lenders, 41 are confirmed lending, 74 sit on a watchlist pending verification, and 28 have shut down. Where a figure cannot be sourced we leave it blank rather than estimate it — which is why some entries are deliberately incomplete.
