Cash Aisle Closed

Lac du Flambeau Band (LDF Holdings) · 2017–2023

Cash Aisle’s domain is a parking page now, and its borrowers were swept into the Fitzgerald settlement that cancelled roughly $1.4 billion of Lac du Flambeau loans. The window is 24 July 2016 to 1 October 2023. If your loan sits inside it, you owe nothing and never had to file anything. If a collector says otherwise, they are the one who needs to produce paperwork.

What a Cash Aisle loan cost

No verifiable rate survives for Cash Aisle specifically. Minnesota’s Attorney General alleged 200% to 800% APR across the Lac du Flambeau operation, and we will not narrow that with numbers we cannot source.

What matters more for anyone reading this is that the price stopped being the question in January 2025. If your loan is in the window, the balance was cancelled — whatever the rate had been.

If someone is collecting a Cash Aisle debt

Start with the date on your loan agreement. Between 24 July 2016 and 1 October 2023, the Fitzgerald v. Wildcat settlement cancelled it — automatically, effective 16 January 2025, with no claim form to have missed.

Then make the collector prove their side. Send a written validation request within 30 days of first contact demanding the original agreement, the full payment history and proof they own the debt. Cite the settlement by name.

Balances in the class were cancelled, not sold, so a collector holding one has a problem explaining how it got there.

Do not make a payment to buy time or goodwill. A payment can restart the statute of limitations on a debt that may already be dead, and it can be read as acknowledging a balance the settlement extinguished.

Revoke ACH authorisation in writing to both the collector and your bank — separately. Telling only one of the two is the most common and most expensive mistake here.

The brand is parked; the operation is not

cashaisle.com now shows a GoDaddy parking page. Radiant Cash resolves to a server that returns nothing; Evergreen Services has no address record at all. Three brands, three flavours of dead.

The operation behind them is alive. The Fitzgerald settlement expressly allowed Lac du Flambeau to continue lending, LDF Holdings is live in 2026 and still markets itself as a tribal lending servicer, and Tribal President John Johnson Sr. has publicly defended the lending as lawful. Lendumo carries on.

So when you read that the tribe "wound down" its lending after the settlement, that is not what happened. Three names were retired. That is brand churn, and it is the sector’s standard response to liability.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still owe my Cash Aisle loan?

Not if you took it between 24 July 2016 and 1 October 2023 — the Fitzgerald v. Wildcat settlement cancelled roughly $1.4 billion of Lac du Flambeau loans in that window automatically, effective 16 January 2025. A loan after 1 October 2023 was not cancelled.

A collector is contacting me about Cash Aisle — what do I do?

Check your loan date against the 24 July 2016 – 1 October 2023 window, then send a written validation request demanding the original agreement, full payment history and proof of ownership, citing the Fitzgerald settlement. Do not pay to make it stop — a payment can restart the limitation clock on a debt that may already be cancelled.

Did Lac du Flambeau stop lending after the settlement?

No. The settlement expressly allowed it to continue, and LDF Holdings remains active in 2026. Cash Aisle, Radiant Cash and Evergreen Services were retired while brands such as Lendumo kept operating. The only genuine exit is Minnesota, under a November 2024 consent order.
